Souls
You are a soul missing its other half, much like the rest of those within this barren world. Fret not however, we will aid you in making you whole. We’ve made this process into three steps, three games if you’d like. Throughout What Remains of Paradise, you will be given clues that will point you towards your Soul Class, Soul Shade, and finally your Soul Partner; the other half of your soul. We call this process Soul Rooting. We will ask that certain information is kept private at times for the sake of our game, such as your Shade.
The Soul System
What Remains is what is known as a "Paradise-like," meaning we will be using a similar magic system to the one found in The Paradise Trials and Paradise Rising. Each player will be assigned a soul class, shade, and partner by the GM. These are not chosen by the player. Your soul class, represented by a color, will dictate what type of magic you have access to. Through discovering your soul shade you will find your soul partner, with the help of whom you will be able to unlock the true potential of your magic and make your soul whole.
