Rules

Be kind to your fellow players. This is a dark campaign, and you are welcome to have your characters be mean to one another, but we ask that you always remain kind and courteous to others out of character.

The campaign is 18+. There will be no exceptions. Those who slip through the cracks and are found to be underage will be expelled from the campaign.

Always be aware of triggering content. If your post contains anything you feel may be triggering, please include a trigger warning at the top of your post. In the server, we ask that these things also be spoilered on top of the trigger warning. Please remember to provide warnings and to spoiler content when asked.

What Remains prohibits pedophilia, ableism, racism, and LGBTphobia out of character for any reason. While ableism, racism, and homophobia or transphobia was allowed in backstories if handled with care, pedophilia will not be allowed in reference of any kind. These triggering topics must be tagged and if brought up in character should be done with the permission of the others in your roleplay.

Plagiarizing and tracing is prohibited within What Remains. Any artwork used that is not your own must be credited to their original creator and be used with their permission. (Ex: commissioning another for your application artwork.)

Godmodding and power playing is not to be tolerated. You do not control the characters of others, and should not attempt to under any circumstances.

Please be careful to keep information learned out of character to OOC circumstances. Just because you as a player now know something does not mean your character should.

NSFW and sexual themed content is not allowed in any form

Your in character actions have consequences. Other players will always be welcome to attempt to prevent actions taken by your character, these actions will simply require a contest via roll.

Be mindful of character age gaps when pursuing romance. This will not be something we enforce strictly unless players express discomfort, but please be mindful of it. Characters who are minors (under 1 year) should not be pursued romantically by adults.

If you are asked to keep an aspect of the campaign you are aware of a secret, please do so. Mistakes happen, but intentionally leaking information will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the game.

You must have a discord profile in order to join, as discord will be our main area of organization.

Post limits will be strictly enforced. Post limits will be clearly stated at chapter start and failing to meet it will result in the loss of your one get out of jail free card. Failing to meet the post limit a second time will result in your removal from the game.

You will have access to documents outside your own team. You are not to interfere with documents meant for other teams.
